Pok Tunggal Beach is quite popular among other rows of beaches in Gunungkidul Regency, Yogyakarta Indonesia. The beach is located in the Village Tepus, District Tepus has a charming stretch of white sand and nature.
The name “Pok Tunggal” is taken from a tree that lives on the beach. The name of the tree is Duras that grows on Pok Tunggal and only one tree.
The tree is one of these beach icons, it is rare for Duras trees to grow around the coast, so the village residents maintain the tree in order to keep it looking beautiful.
One of the best moments to enjoy the Beach is at sunset.
Dark atmosphere when the sky is orange and visitor can enjoy while watching the activities of residents in the afternoon. Young coconut ice becomes a suitable companion to enjoy the sunset.
To the west of the shore, you can see the fishermen who began to descend to go to sea.

You only need to pay Rp 9,500 to enter this beach. Parking of two-wheeled vehicles charged Rp 2,000, while the four-wheel tariff charged Rp 5,000.
From the city of Yogyakarta or Yogyakarta airport, the route that you can pass is to go to Imogiri Street, Panggang, then go to Jalan Saptosari.
From Saptosari Street follow the path to Tepus, precisely to Baron Beach. At the fork before Baron Beach take the left toward the Indrayanti Beach.
From the intersection of Indrayanti Beach area take a left and follow the asphalt road until it arrives at Post Levy. A few meters from the post will show you a signpost to the Single Pok Beach.
